This English translation is provided for convenience; the French version prevails.
These terms govern the use of the Sauge & Soie app and of the “Send my photos without the app” page, which let the guests of an event (wedding, birthday, party…) whose website was created by the Sauge & Soie studio share their photos in that event's album. By ticking “I accept the terms of use” in the app, or by sending a photo, you accept these terms.
Publisher
The app is published by Michael SALA, sole trader, under the trade name “Sauge & Soie”: 70 rue du Villaret, 38220 Saint-Jean-de-Vaulx, France. SIRET: 518 731 179 00033. Contact: android-apps@sauge-et-soie.fr.
The service
- The app is free, with no account and no advertising.
- It is reserved for the event's guests: you join an album by scanning the “Photos” QR code provided by the hosts.
- The hosts set the upload period and the number of photos per phone, and choose whether photos are published automatically or after approval, on a page visible to their guests or to themselves only.
Your photos
- You remain the owner of your photos. By sending them, you grant, free of charge and for the lifetime of the event website: the hosts the right to keep them, show them on that website and download them for their personal use; Sauge & Soie the right to host and prepare them (resizing, thumbnails) for this service only.
- You guarantee that you have the right to share them: you took them or have the author's consent, and the recognisable people do not object to their being shown in the album.
- You can remove your photos at any time, as explained in the app privacy policy.
Zero tolerance
No objectionable content and no abusive behaviour is tolerated. You must not send:
- sexual or pornographic photos, or photos showing nudity;
- violent, shocking, hateful or discriminatory photos, or photos that harass, humiliate or threaten anyone;
- photos of a person who asked not to be photographed or published, or that infringe anyone's privacy or dignity, especially children's;
- illegal content, or content owned by a third party who has not given consent;
- content unrelated to the event (advertising, spam).
Any photo that breaks these rules is deleted and photo uploads are blocked for its author's phone, without notice. Illegal content may be reported to the competent authorities.
Moderation and reporting
- The hosts can approve, hide or delete any photo at any time, and block uploads from a phone.
- Every photo in the online album (also opened from the app) can be reported with the “Report” button. The hosts and the Sauge & Soie studio are notified right away. Depending on the hosts' settings, the photo is removed on the first report; in any case, it is hidden after several reports.
- Every report is reviewed within 24 hours: a photo that breaks the rules is deleted and its author can no longer send photos.
- You can also write to android-apps@sauge-et-soie.fr.
Liability
- Each guest is responsible for the photos they send.
- The service is provided as is. We do what is needed to keep it running, but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted (network at the venue, maintenance); pending photos are sent again automatically.
- Sauge & Soie is not responsible for the use that the hosts, or the visitors they allow, make of downloaded photos.
Personal data
The data processed and your rights are described in the app privacy policy.
App stores
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) also applies. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the service.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In case of a significant change, the app will ask you to accept them again. They are governed by French law.
